There are many differences – quality of products, rooibos herbal tea and support of those living with mental illness are a few important ones.
Many of our products contain rooibos herbal tea – from the Cedarberg mountain area in southern Africa which is the only place it grows naturally – rooibos is rich in alpha hydroxy acid and zinc – both important nutrients for healthy skin. Zinc helps heal wounds, protects against UV rays and has anti-inflammatory properties that could alleviate acne, pimples and sunburn. Applying rooibos tea to your skin improves it in the most natural way

Why are your products palm oil free?
While palm oil is used by many others in soap making, we made the decision to have palm oil free products as we love love our neighbors and our earth - and deforestation continues to shrink habitats for a multitude of endangered species, including orangutans, tigers, rhinoceros, and elephants. There are better alternatives!
How is your soap made?
We use the cold-process method of soap making, made in small batches with all natural ingredients. We weigh all ingredients on a digital scale, mix ingredients by hand, pour into molds by hand, slice each bar by hand and then label each bar by hand. Our soap then cures for six week before reaching our customers. Cold process soap making yields a longer lasting, stronger-smelling, “sudsier” and more colorful bar of soap.
Essential oils are expensive why not use fragrances?
Synthetic fragrances are made up of chemicals, mostly from petrochemicals, including benzene derivatives and other known toxins. These toxic chemicals are capable of causing cancer, birth defects, nervous-system disorders, hormone activity disruption, obesity, diabetes and allergies.
We use only therapeutic grade essential oils (many of which are organic) that are beneficial to your mind and body.
How long do the soap bars last?
Depending on how often and how long you shower.....typically a bar will last 3 weeks. Stand the soap up on the one end so it doesn't lie flat in a wet soap dish/shelf. Or use our natural pine soap savers.
